Finance Manager – Internal Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the monthly closing tasks, cost allocation processes, and transactional accounting functions across various business lines and legal entities.

• Engage in the monthly cost allocation procedures across different business lines, products, and legal entities.

• Calculate and prepare allocations for shared services and overhead expenses.

• Assist with month-end closing activities pertaining to: Cost allocations, Revenue accruals, and cut-off procedures.

• Aid in the AR/AP closing processes.

• Conduct reconciliations and consistency checks for allocated costs and transactional information.

• Examine and verify primary accounting data to ensure it is complete, accurate, and timely.

• Assist in revenue recognition processes and confirm appropriate cut-off.

• Analyze variances and explore discrepancies within designated areas.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Business Lines Finance, HR, IT, and Group Closing teams within the assigned scope.

• Contribute to enhancements and automation initiatives in management accounting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 2–4 years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting, or general accounting.

• Practical experience in month-end closing processes.

• Solid understanding of cost allocation principles and accrual accounting.

• Familiarity with AR/AP processes.

• Good knowledge of P&L structure and cost behavior.

• Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, handling large datasets).

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (1C, Xero, or similar).

• English proficiency: Intermediate or higher.

• Fluency in Russian.

• Strong attention to detail and capability to meet deadlines.
