This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the total OPEX budget for Marketing, which includes headcount/payroll modeling and tracking program expenditures at the PO level across 10 Marketing functions.
• Facilitate strategic financial planning, conduct monthly and quarterly forecasts, and develop long-term financial models for the Marketing organization.
• Manage in-quarter budget pacing and reallocate any uncommitted funds to priority initiatives.
• Collaborate with Accounting on month-end accruals and closing procedures.
• Work closely with Procurement/Sourcing regarding PR and PO processes.
• Conduct financial analyses, evaluate ROI, and provide decision support for marketing programs, vendor renewals, and organizational changes.
• Enhance forecasting processes by utilizing FP&A systems, data analytics, and automation tools.
• Act as a trusted finance partner for Twilio’s global Marketing organization.
• Lead operational budget management and provide strategic decision support for a multi-million-dollar program budget.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance is essential.
• Ideally, experience in a fast-paced technology or enterprise SaaS environment.
• Proven experience managing high-volume OPEX program budgets exceeding $50M.
• Familiarity with complex PO tracking, vendor accruals in line with US GAAP, and headcount forecasting across multiple functional teams.
• Capability to work independently with senior leaders at the Director and VP levels.
• Proficiency in driving budget accountability and articulating financial concepts clearly.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Practical experience with enterprise FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Pigment, or Adaptive.
• Knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle or NetSuite.
• Experience with HCM/recruiting systems, including Workday or Greenhouse.
• Direct FP&A experience supporting Marketing or GTM functions is preferred.
• Experience in modernizing financial workflows, automating manual tasks, and utilizing SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AI-assisted financial tools is desired.
• Ability to convert marketing and sales performance metrics into business growth and ROI is advantageous.
