Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of essential business drivers and facilitate strategic decision-making through thorough financial assessment.

• Lead intricate, cross-departmental projects that involve Capital Markets, Finance, Product, and Technology.

• Assist in financing transactions, maintain ongoing communication with investors, and manage reporting.

• Take ownership of and continually enhance forecasting models and performance tracking systems.

• Contribute to the design and execution of financial and operational processes as the company expands.

• Create high-quality internal and external reports, including materials for the Board.

• Provide on-demand analysis to support leadership and operational decision-making.

• Gradually assume greater responsibilities, from managing individual workstreams to influencing wider financial and operational strategies.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership on significant financial and strategic issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or prestigious management consulting.

• A strong sense of intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn swiftly while tackling complex challenges.

• A proactive, hands-on approach to work.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous situations with shifting priorities.

• Excellent analytical and financial modeling capabilities.

• A commitment to high quality and precision in work output.

• Structured thinking skills with the capability to convert analysis into actionable steps.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing various priorities.

• Strong, clear, and concise communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.

• A strong sense of ownership and the mindset of treating the business as one's own.

• Proficiency in German is a plus.
