Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all facets of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for designated business lines or departments.

• Ensure financial precision and responsibility for all P&L components.

• Lead the development and execution of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and teams.

• Monitor actual expenses against projected figures.

• Deliver financial analysis and insights across various business units.

• Create comprehensive reports focusing on trends, cost management, and operational effectiveness.

• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual outcomes with forecasts and budgets.

• Offer recommendations to senior management.

• Assist in long-term strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting.

• Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency enhancements.

• Execute cost-saving initiatives across different functions.

• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure financial performance is aligned with business objectives.

• Develop and uphold key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

• Ideal candidates will have in-house experience at a tech company, along with backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or analytics.

• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to construct complex financial models from the ground up.

• Ability to analyze financial data and create financial reports and forecasts.

• Self-motivated individual who can exercise sound judgment, effectively handle ambiguity, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain cross-functional relationships.

• Proficient communication skills for effective interaction with senior leadership.

• Experience with PBCS or Essbase is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, SQL, and/or Looker is considered a plus.
