Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between business finance users and Business Technical Support.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for business systems and associated processes across Finance functional areas, affiliates, and locations.

• Ensure that SAC application incidents are prioritized and that business system operations function efficiently.

• Oversee month-end close systems processes, which include timely data feeds, data validation, and incident resolution.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts in BPC and SAC, as well as the FP&A teams.

• Provide assistance to AA Global HQ, the US organization in Irvine, AA LATAM, and AA International during financial reporting cycles as necessary.

• Deliver training and hands-on support for Financial Planning systems/templates to end users.

• Coordinate with Business and Technical Support Project Managers for SAC testing and data validation during system deployments.

• Facilitate communication among support leads, areas, affiliates, and sites during deployments.

• Direct incident resolution and engage with users to address inquiries.

• Drive process optimization initiatives within the FP&A organization.

• Collaborate with SAC, BPC, BIP, and SAP systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field in Information Technology Systems.

• A minimum of 6+ years of relevant and progressive experience.

• 3–5 years of previous experience in a strategic or analytical capacity.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
