This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Serve as the Finance subject matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint and primary Group finance systems, assisting users with inquiries, troubleshooting, and helpdesk requests.
• Facilitate acquisition integrations by coordinating finance activities across acquired entities, regional Finance teams, Group FP&A, and Business Systems.
• Collaborate with regional Finance Directors, Group FP&A, and integration finance teams to comprehend finance processes, reporting, and data requirements before, during, and after integration.
• Perform finance gap analysis, document existing processes, and assist in the implementation of standardized “SLR Way” approaches.
• Prepare, review, and validate migration data and templates, including reconciliations across trial balance, AP, AR, WIP, revenue, project financials, and other pertinent finance data.
• Reconcile data from source systems to destination systems and support testing, validation, and sign-off for development and live migrations.
• Assist in testing and validating finance reporting prior to and following go-live.
• Maintain process maps, user guidance, training materials, and controls documentation for essential Group Finance processes.
• Promote continuous improvement, user acceptance testing, and the implementation of Vantagepoint enhancements.
• Provide post go-live hypercare, training, and ongoing support for integrated entities and Finance users.
• Assist Group Finance with systems, data, and integration reporting requirements during month-end, year-end, and other critical finance cycles.
• Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint or a comparable ERP/accounting system.
• Experience in supporting finance systems implementations, integrations, migrations, or process enhancements.
• Strong understanding of fundamental finance processes, controls, management accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience in reviewing, validating, and reconciling financial data across source and destination systems.
• Proven ability to document processes, maintain process maps, and identify practical improvement opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders remotely.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, alongside advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Capability to coordinate multiple workstreams and priorities in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment.
• Experience in supporting acquisition integrations or finance transformation projects.
• Background in finance project management, business analysis, controls design, or process mapping.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools.
• Accounting qualification, part-qualified accountant, or relevant finance systems experience.
• Experience in handling finance system helpdesk tickets, user inquiries, or system issue resolution.
• Organized, diligent, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a readiness to engage hands-on.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
