Finance Functional Lead – MS D365 F&O, AX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the global D365 Finance template, which includes the chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting profiles, tax configurations, and intercompany setup.

• Evaluate and authorize finance-related change requests across various legal entities.

• Handle localizations and exceptions while ensuring consistency across the board.

• Assist in multi-entity D365 rollouts from solution design and validation through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live, and hypercare stages.

• Deliver functional support to active D365 Finance environments.

• Address issues and aid in month-end and period-close processes.

• Sustain configuration and ensure ongoing operational health.

• Direct the transition of finance support from external consultants to an internal ERP capability.

• Perform knowledge transfer and uphold documentation and process governance.

• Collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders to convert accounting and business needs into D365 Finance solutions.

• Offer guidance, training, and support to crucial finance users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or AX Finance.

• Proven experience in independently managing and governing a finance template.

• Successful completion of at least one full end-to-end, multi-entity D365/AX Finance implementation from design through to go-live and hypercare.

• In-depth functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, intercompany processes, taxation, and financial localization.

• Experience in multi-legal-entity environments, facilitating rollouts and managing live production systems.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial controls, and ERP governance.

• Capability to challenge business requirements and uphold global standards.

• Experience in collaborating across Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.

• Ability to convert finance requirements into D365 configuration and solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Preferred: experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments.

• Preferred: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification, such as MB-310, or an equivalent qualification.

• Preferred: experience with group-level consolidation and intercompany processes.

• Preferred: experience in transitioning ERP support and governance from an external implementation partner to an internal team.
