Finance Business Analyst - Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of requirements and design activities for system and dimension design, as well as reporting outputs.

• Record user stories and map out processes for both current and future operations.

• Collaborate with the business to confirm and uphold requirements and design specifications.

• Develop and advocate for a standardized report inventory, including core report mock-ups.

• Provide support during the testing phase of the build process and verify functionality and outputs.

• Conduct data migration testing and assist in the delivery and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and escalate any issues as necessary.

• Aid in business training and the processes surrounding go-live.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to ensure a successful project go-live.

• Support the Group Finance consolidation project aimed at replacing Oracle EPM (FCCS and Planning) throughout the entire project lifecycle, in collaboration with the external implementation partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A finance background with a strong understanding of month-end closing, consolidation, and reporting processes.

• Practical experience in an end-to-end project implementation, including the gathering of requirements and design.

• Ability to work directly with local and regional finance teams, offering clear guidance and support.

• Experience collaborating with an implementation partner.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with non-technical stakeholders.

• A positive and proactive mindset with the capability to handle competing priorities effectively.

• Prior experience in a OneStream implementation project or the use of EPM Consolidation systems is preferred.
