Finance & Accounting Associate – Junior/Mid Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting operations in collaboration with external bookkeepers located in the UK, Cyprus, and Bahrain, while facilitating the monthly closing process, which includes processing journal entries.

• Prepare and manage vendor and operational payments, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place.

• Assist with initial collection efforts, which involve following up on invoices and sending payment reminders.

• Aid in compliance matters related to applicable tax regulations.

• Provide support for payroll operations.

• Help with various finance and accounting tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.

• 2–3 years of pertinent accounting experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial procedures.

• Experience collaborating with international organizations and/or external bookkeepers is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to coordinate effectively across various teams.

• Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines.

• Proficient in accounting software as well as MS Office, especially Excel.

• Fluent in Greek, with proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
