Field Trainer – Ops & Maintenance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance and advance operational and maintenance capabilities throughout the field by providing coaching, development, and curriculum support.

• Assist Market Trainers by offering coaching, conducting observations, refining curriculum, and engaging in hands-on field activities.

• Support frontline teams during the launch of new sites and during specific performance interventions.

• Coach, mentor, and strengthen the skills of Market Trainers.

• Conduct observations for coaching and facilitate joint training sessions to enhance instructional delivery and technical precision.

• Offer structured feedback and development suggestions to Market Trainers and field leadership.

• Reinforce the intent of the curriculum, training standards, and consistency across various markets.

• Act as a technical and operational resource without having direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Collaborate with Instructional Design and field leadership to refine the training curriculum.

• Validate training content to ensure it aligns with real-world field execution and equipment conditions.

• Support the creation of job aids, SOP-based training, certifications, and hands-on training materials.

• Deliver hands-on training sessions for operations and maintenance teams.

• Aid in onboarding and retraining efforts to address performance gaps or transitions.

• Provide focused support during the launch of new sites.

• Reinforce safety practices, wash quality standards, preventive maintenance behaviors, company SOPs, operational standards, and best practices.

• Assist in the rollout of new equipment, technologies, chemicals, and process updates.

• Participate in pilot programs and convert field feedback into improvements for the curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in car wash operations, maintenance, training, or field support roles.

• Strong practical knowledge of tunnel operations, equipment, safety, and wash quality standards.

• Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or supporting the development of trainers and/or leaders.

• Ability to influence others without direct authority.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% as necessary.

• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business requirements dictate.
