Field Technician C

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support for FAA programs and systems, such as FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, and WMSS.

• Install, repair, configure, test, and conduct preventative maintenance on networking and telecommunications devices.

• Operate at customer remote sites, both indoors and outdoors, within the designated area.

• Work remotely in scheduled and on-call roles at customer locations.

• Travel to remote sites within the assigned area and occasionally beyond the designated region.

• Read, comprehend, and adhere to equipment schematics and task orders.

• Take notes and document work executed at customer locations.

• Coordinate via phone with the NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to address field issues.

• Maintain tools, testing equipment, parts/electronics, truck stock inventory, and either personal or company vehicle.

• Prepare for assigned tasks prior to dispatch.

• Comply with L3Harris and program-specific policies and procedures in conjunction with the supervisor (ASL).

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

• Capability to obtain and maintain FAA Public Trust / Public Trust Clearance.

• Hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret Clearance.

• Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Wireless, or A+ certifications preferred.

• Willingness and capability to work from home in an on-call capacity.

• Openness to travel up to 100% of the time to remote locations within the assigned drive circle and outside the designated region as necessary.

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 32 pounds; preferred capability to lift 70 pounds.

• Ability to use ladders and step stools to reach heights of approximately 10 feet.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Ability to perform in a high-stress and high-visibility environment.

• Willingness to work outside of regular hours and respond to after-hours emergency calls.
