Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver onsite product assistance to designated customer accounts, typically through contractual agreements.

• Offer product support both onsite and over the phone.

• Aid customers in the application of equipment.

• Elevate customer-related concerns to CQA Regional Management.

• Diagnose products onsite and collaborate with ZOLL Tech Support to log service and support activities.

• Conduct onsite preventive maintenance for devices and accounts covered by service agreements.

• Assist with deployments or preventive maintenance for other regional customers as instructed by the Manager.

• Keep records of customer-specific service activities.

• Generate monthly status reports for customers.

• Provide software updates upon request.

• Secure and maintain testing equipment while adhering to calibration and rotation schedules.

• Engage in assigned special projects.

• Take part in customer meetings with service management and CQA regional managers to address issues and develop action plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Technical Degree (minimum of 2 years) or equivalent work experience is required.

• Prior experience interacting with external customers is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• A credit card in good standing for travel-related expenses is required.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to meet defined objectives.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

• Up to 90% travel may be required based on customer needs.

• Ability to fulfill the specified physical demands, including constant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, and coordination of eye/hand/foot.

• Capacity to work in various conditions, including occasional extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet environments, and frequent noise.
