Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Assist in network operations by utilizing technical expertise to sustain and enhance network efficiency and dependability.

• Offer technical assistance to address network performance challenges and aid in resolving outages.

• Oversee smaller projects or segments of projects, providing precise status reports and progress updates.

• Identify and propose improvements in processes related to maintenance and repair tasks.

• Collaborate with senior technicians to develop job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation.

• Complete necessary training to keep up-to-date with systems, products, and organizational standards.

• Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

• Work on locations throughout Northern Nevada, from Reno to the Utah Border.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience considered equivalent (Required).

• Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred).

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Knowledge of 5G New Radio (NR).

• Familiarity with Base Station technology.

• Commitment to Continuous Development.

• Experience with Disaster Recovery Planning.

• Proficient in Network Troubleshooting.

• Skills in Project Management.

• Understanding of Radio Access Networks (RAN).

• Experience in Technical Support.

• Knowledge of Wireless Backhaul.

• Travel is required.

• This is a DOT regulated position.
