This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide HVAC field service technicians in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC systems for data centers.

• Design and execute service protocols and best practices tailored for HVAC operations within data centers.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, governmental regulations, and safety protocols.

• Collaborate with data center project managers and stakeholders regarding preventive maintenance, system failures, and tailored solutions.

• Monitor and enhance inventory levels to ensure service vehicles are equipped with the necessary parts and tools.

• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams on strategies for data center HVAC services.

• Manage customer experiences through the C2 customer complaint system.

• Assist in promoting Services sales, tools, and objectives.

• Provide feedback to Service Sales and Service Engineering while sharing leads.

• Engage in recruitment efforts.

• Counsel supervisors on scheduling conflicts, service challenges, equipment issues, and employee matters.

• Conduct new-hire orientation, field training, and continuous education.

• Execute quality assurance checks in the field.

• Handle service administration tasks including timesheet entry, expense report review, and the creation and review of service reports.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of extensive experience in the HVAC industry, particularly focusing on data center environments.

• At least 3 years in a leadership position managing a team of technicians.

• Profound knowledge of the specific demands and challenges presented by data center HVAC systems.

• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and operational procedures.

• Familiarity with advanced monitoring and management systems utilized in data centers.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills combined with a keen eye for detail.

• Willingness to travel on short notice to multiple site locations as needed.

• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Clean driving record and an openness to frequent travel to various job sites.
