Field Support Manager – Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct routine inspections of store racking and cantilever systems.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with National Rack Standards and manufacturer specifications.

• Collaborate with store management on scheduling, inspection results, and ongoing training initiatives.

• Assess material requirements.

• Recognize trends through the inspection app and provide insights on field observations.

• Execute additional tasks as requested.

• Analyze independent engineering inspection audits for constructive feedback and learning opportunities.

• Offer insights on field patterns and potential enhancements in the inspection process.

• Carry out and evaluate store racking inspections throughout the designated area.

• Respond to immediate safety issues and deliver training on National Racking Standards.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Inspections.

• Expect to travel overnight more than 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with Tableau.

• Knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).

• Proven ability to collaborate and effectively work within cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated skills in project management.

• Capable of explaining complex or technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to diverse groups.

• Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing grievances with internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• High school diploma and/or GED required.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Over 1 year of previous leadership experience.

• Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.

• Must be able to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting materials or equipment.
