Field Support Manager – Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular inspections of store racking and cantilever systems to ensure they meet safety standards and comply with National Rack Standards as well as manufacturer guidelines.

• Collaborate and communicate with store leadership regarding scheduling, inspection outcomes, and ongoing training initiatives.

• Assess material requirements.

• Identify opportunities within the inspection application and offer insights on field trends.

• Execute ad hoc requests as needed.

• Analyze independent engineering audits of inspections to gather feedback and enhance learning.

• Provide insights on field trends and potential improvements in the inspection process.

• Carry out and evaluate store racking inspections throughout the designated territory.

• Partner with store leadership to address immediate safety issues and provide training on National Racking Standards.

• Generally report to the Senior Manager of Inspections.

• Travel overnight more than 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• High school diploma and/or GED is required.

• Five years of professional experience.

• At least one year of previous leadership experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with Tableau.

• Competence in using presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated skills in project management.

• Capability to simplify complex or technical concepts for diverse audiences.

• Proficient in negotiation, complaint resolution, and managing disputes with both internal and external clients.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
