Field Support Manager – Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular inspections of store racking and cantilever systems to ensure safety and adherence to National Rack Standards and manufacturer guidelines.

• Collaborate and communicate with store leadership regarding scheduling, inspection results, and ongoing training.

• Assess materials requirements.

• Identify opportunities for improvement using the inspection app.

• Provide insights on field trends and inspection methodologies.

• Execute and evaluate store racking inspections within the designated territory.

• Review independent engineering inspection audits for insights and learning opportunities.

• Address urgent safety issues and deliver training on National Racking Standards.

• Complete ad hoc requests as necessary.

• Report to the Senior Manager of Inspections.

• Travel overnight over 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• High school diploma and/or GED is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience.

• At least 1 year of prior leadership experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with Tableau.

• Knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).

• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated project management capabilities.

• Ability to articulate complex or technical concepts in a simple manner for diverse audiences.

• Skilled in negotiation, handling complaints, resolving disputes, and addressing grievances with both internal and external customers.
