Field Support Manager – Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular inspections of store racking and cantilever systems.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with National Rack Standards and manufacturer recommendations.

• Collaborate with store leadership on scheduling, inspection results, and ongoing training.

• Assess materials requirements.

• Spot opportunities for improvement using the inspection app.

• Provide insights on field trends and inspection methodologies.

• Execute ad hoc requests as necessary.

• Evaluate independent engineering audits for feedback and educational purposes.

• Carry out and assess store racking inspections within the designated territory.

• Partner with store leadership to address urgent safety issues and training on National Racking Standards.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Inspections.

• Assist operations throughout New England.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is necessary.

• At least 1 year of previous leadership experience is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with Tableau is required.

• Proficient in presentation software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Proven ability to collaborate and work efficiently with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated skills in project management.

• Capable of articulating complex or technical concepts in a clear manner to a variety of audiences.

• Ability to negotiate, address complaints, resolve disputes, and manage grievances with both internal and external customers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Must be willing to travel overnight regularly, typically over 50% of the time.

• Must meet physical demands including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting materials or equipment.

• No specific certifications are required.
