Field Support Manager – Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular inspections of store racking and cantilever systems.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with National Rack Standards and manufacturer requirements.

• Collaborate with store management on scheduling, inspection outcomes, and ongoing training.

• Assess material requirements for inspections.

• Identify potential enhancements using the inspection application.

• Offer insights on field trends and inspection methodologies.

• Execute additional requests as necessary.

• Examine independent engineering inspection audits for insights and improvement.

• Carry out and evaluate store racking inspections within the designated region.

• Respond to immediate safety issues and deliver training on National Racking Standards.

• Generally, travel overnight over 50% of the time.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Inspections.

• Operate without direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with Tableau.

• Knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).

• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated skills in project management.

• Ability to communicate complex or technical concepts in easily understandable terms for diverse audiences.

• Capable of negotiating, addressing complaints, resolving disputes, and handling grievances with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• High school diploma and/or GED, along with relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies.

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience.

• At least 1 year of prior leadership experience.
