This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement an annual business strategy for the territory.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with contractors and engineers.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and advance project opportunities.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline utilizing CRM and project management tools.
• Formulate growth strategies for accounts, both existing and potential customers.
• Leverage market intelligence to pinpoint geographical expansion opportunities.
• Predict project opportunities through effective forecasting.
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to execute account and project strategies.
• Act as a reliable advisor, promoting product adoption through education and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Assist contractors with technical expertise, installation knowledge, relationship building, and project pursuit efforts.
• Conduct job site demonstrations, provide contractor training, and offer installation assistance.
• Support the execution of high-value projects, including quoting, bidding, market development, and gathering market intelligence.
• Increase territory sales by educating customers, influencing product choices, aiding project execution, and identifying opportunities to enhance ASC's market footprint.
• Background in mechanical construction, piping systems, fabrication, engineering support, or related fields.
• Proficient understanding of PVF products and commercial mechanical systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical piping systems, PVF products, grooved joining systems, valves, hangers, press, threaded, and fabrication equipment.
• Familiarity with construction processes, fabrication operations, piping applications, competitive practices, industry standards, and large project execution phases.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of experience in outside sales.
• Preferred: Experience with PVF, grooved systems, and valves.
• Preferred: Background in estimating.
• Preferred: Established relationships within the industry.
• Expertise in solution selling, opportunity development, territory planning, pipeline management, CRM usage, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Excellent skills in presentation, training, customer education, negotiation, and relationship building.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
