This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configure, install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of products and services while providing customer training.
• Collect, measure, document, process, and analyze complex data to enhance service quality.
• Identify opportunities for volume growth and product/process upgrades to increase the utilization of Ricoh equipment, supplies, and services.
• Assemble, adjust, maintain, and share expertise on products and equipment in line with specifications and documentation.
• Act as a team lead or coordinator when necessary or as directed.
• Deliver customer training sessions, observe equipment and workflow, and present solutions effectively.
• Promote Ricoh's support functions and offerings while anticipating and managing customer needs.
• Foster and maintain productive, professional relationships with customers and Ricoh personnel.
• Oversee workload, response times, repair times, quality objectives, cost-control metrics, call handling, and field service procedures.
• Accurately and timely complete administrative tasks, logs, processes, reports, and time/activity tracking.
• Manage assigned car stock and/or customer on-site inventory efficiently.
• Meet expected productivity levels and engage in Ricoh Extra Value program opportunities.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• A valid state driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage as per Ricoh policy is required for positions involving extensive personal car use for company business.
• A high school diploma is mandatory.
• Completion of classes and experience related to computers, electronics, mechanics, basic networking, basic connectivity, and printing software applications is preferred.
• Must meet the requirements outlined in the Technology Services Training Role Inventory and Certification Program for the assigned position.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, computers, mobile technology, and related applications and/or systems is essential.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement as well as the development of others.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills are required.
• Capability to identify problems and opportunities and devise effective solutions.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
• Skilled in overcoming technical, customer, and logistical challenges.
• Requires extensive daily travel between customer locations, which may involve walking and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
• Must be capable of moving objects on wheels weighing up to 400 pounds and lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, ladder usage, and basic hand-tool tasks.
• Shift work, overtime, standby, and/or on-call duties may be required.
