Field Services Technician – On Site Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with site leadership to fulfill daily contractual responsibilities and assist in all aspects of site operations with minimal oversight.

• Execute routine maintenance, component replacements, and system repairs to address malfunctions.

• Identify and resolve intricate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical challenges in variable pitch and variable speed turbines.

• Perform diagnostic electrical analyses to enhance turbine performance.

• Keep precise records of service activities using digital reporting methods.

• Act as the main point of contact with the GE Remote Operations Center to coordinate troubleshooting efforts and system updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Wind Technician.

• A minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in diagnosing hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Proven experience with basic power hydraulic tools.

• Demonstrated leadership experience within field teams.

• Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, technical manuals, and industry regulations.

• Strong foundational computer skills.

• Successful completion of a Technical Knowledge Assessment.

• Capability to climb towers up to 300 feet on a daily basis.

• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.

• Must comply with manufacturer-specified weight limits not exceeding 300 lbs, including all necessary gear.

• Required to hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to work in varied industrial, manufacturing, and power facility environments.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, when applicable.
