This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in a two-year rotational program aimed at cultivating high-potential individuals into future leaders within Field Services.
• Work alongside key leaders throughout the Field Services Organization on significant projects and strategic initiatives.
• Perform inspections on residential and commercial roofing, covering start-ups, interims, finals, leak assessments, and complaint inspections.
• Travel to nearby locations to carry out roof inspections.
• Prioritize outstanding inspection requests and create effective, efficient schedules.
• Assist in leak and complaint inspections as well as problem resolution.
• Ensure proper written communication is delivered to GAF and its owners/customers.
• Support intricate and high-profile liquid-applied coatings projects.
• Aid in Field Services and contractor training for advanced coatings initiatives.
• Participate in demonstrations and seminars.
• Assist in managing critical job inspections.
• Partner with R&D on the development of new products and application methodologies.
• Address design and drafting requirements for architects, specifiers, contractors, and GAF Territory Managers.
• Help with roofing details, custom specifications, roof plans, sheet layouts, and manufacturers' shop drawings.
• Contribute to writing, revising, and maintaining CSI-formatted specifications and installation manuals.
• Complete safety training and comply with jobsite safety protocols.
• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety practices for rooftops, ladders, and driving.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Previous internship, apprenticeship, or co-op experience in a construction or roofing environment.
• Familiarity with the building material industry, particularly roofing and water management products.
• Strong interpersonal skills, encompassing both verbal and written communication.
• Capability to develop and maintain business relationships.
• Proficient time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and commitments.
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, materials, and ladders.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with Google Suite or MS Office.
• Attentive to detail.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer-sponsored visa support.
• Ability to establish and operate from a home office.
• Must wear appropriate PPE and comply with safety practices in jobsite and manufacturing environments.
• Must exercise safety precautions related to rooftops, ladders, driving, and cell phone usage.
