This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Offer general technical guidance and support to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistics, and installation of GE products.
• Deliver on-site data interpretation and technical instructions.
• Provide Project Engineering, Program Management, and Field Service management with timely updates on program status, customer issues, failures, trends, and climate information.
• Relay program activities and challenges to Product Support and Field Service through consistent and timely reporting.
• Generate reports and share significant market intelligence and sales prospects for assigned programs and support.
• Assist clients in scheduling maintenance and managing workload.
• Help ensure that parts adhere to established timelines.
• Make informed recommendations based on findings.
• Assess the effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training requirements.
• Anticipate needs beyond immediate program demands and assist in implementing solutions.
• Conduct intermediate- and depot-level maintenance.
• Execute hands-on repair and maintenance of the R391 Composite Propeller System and its associated components.
• Provide support for the R391 (C130J) Composite Propeller System and related components at Hurlburt Field, Florida.
• Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% to global locations.
• Capability to lift at least 65 lbs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in extensive repairs and conversions, along with maintenance and repair work on aircraft engine and/or propeller systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of aviation experience in a Field Service or Maintenance role.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficient at managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
• Ability to engage with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
• U.S. Person status is required for accessing U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
