Field Service/Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on assistance to clients in the field.

• Perform maintenance and repair services at customer locations.

• Educate staff on the operation of equipment.

• Instruct customers on how to utilize equipment effectively.

• Provide customer-centric solutions that extend beyond just repairs and maintenance.

• Travel frequently to client sites on a daily basis.

• Occasionally utilize power tools in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.

• Technical training in the biomedical or electronics field is preferred.

• Proficiency in computers, including familiarity with Windows-based applications.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Effective problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Mechanical or technical experience or education, or experience in electrical work, customer service, military service, software/hardware support, pneumatics, or HVAC is desirable.

• Ability to perform routine walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting.

• Capability to frequently lift, lower, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 1 to 55 pounds, and occasionally from 56 to 100 pounds.

• Proficient in pushing, pulling, grasping, and demonstrating manual dexterity with hands, arms, and shoulders.

• Ability to work in confined spaces.

• Frequent travel to customer locations is required (daily).

• Occasional use of power tools is expected.
