Field Service Technician – Southern Alberta

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Advocate for IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products within the contracting community.

• Address both internal and external customer inquiries regarding technical matters related to commercial roofing and building envelope.

• Collaborate with the commercial contracting community and conduct quality assurance inspections on both ongoing and completed projects.

• Develop and deliver theoretical and practical training on commercial products for current and prospective Registered Contractors.

• Engage with the contracting community and distribution network to promote products and provide educational insights.

• Create written inspection and quality assurance reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Attend and engage in relevant association events to showcase IKO Commercial products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in applying commercial roofing products is essential.

• Familiarity with building envelope product applications is considered an asset.

• A degree in Roofing, Construction Technology, or a related field is beneficial.

• Experience in quality assurance inspections is an advantage.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to climb ladders.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks while working independently.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% as needed.
