Field Service Technician, Medical Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on Arjo medical equipment at hospitals located in southwest Ohio.

• Execute maintenance, repairs, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at healthcare facilities.

• Identify technical problems and prepare cost estimates for repairs on customer-owned medical equipment.

• Support the Sales team by participating in joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demonstrations, and trade show setups.

• Increase service contract revenue through the acquisition of new and renewed service contracts.

• Adhere to company, customer, and regulatory health and safety guidelines and procedures.

• Complete and submit precise reporting.

• Manage the inventory of spare parts.

• Travel daily to customer locations.

• Be prepared for overnight travel 20–30% of the time.

• Foster customer relationships to create growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Experience in repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.

• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical assembly.

• Capability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.

• Training and/or certifications are preferred.

• An Associate’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field is preferred.

• Sales experience is a plus.
