Field Service Technician – Maintenance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct maintenance and perform metrological (MTK) and safety inspections (STK) in compliance with the German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV).

• Execute minor repairs on-site at customer locations.

• Diagnose technical problems and efficiently address malfunctions at customer sites or via telephone.

• Offer technical support and guidance to customers during on-site visits.

• Record all service visits and activities using contemporary digital tools.

• Ensure thorough follow-up on all service-related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training as a hearing aid acoustician or equivalent technical education in electrical engineering, electronics, medical technology, or IT.

• Experience in field service, preferably within the medical technology sector, is a plus.

• Competence with Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and Office applications.

• Familiarity with networking and systems integration is advantageous.

• A structured, detail-oriented, and self-organized work ethic.

• Collaborative team player with a strong customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor when interacting with customers.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.

• Valid Class B driving license.

• Proficient in spoken and written German.

• English language skills are a plus.

• Must reside within the assigned territory covering postal code areas 27xxx–31xxx or 37xxx–39xxx.
