Field Service Technician III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Commission, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment related to new Data Center Cooling initiatives.

• Analyze work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and associated materials to identify tasks, tools, equipment, and parts required for installation or repair.

• Oversee complex tasks to minimize impacts on customers’ facilities and experiences while reducing the company’s financial liability.

• Collaborate with building owners, general and mechanical contractors, engineers, and local service providers.

• Consult with engineering and manufacturing teams to address atypical system operation and maintenance challenges.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Inform management about customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.

• Offer service, guidance, and technical expertise to end users and outside sales representatives concerning warranty-related service matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Preference for candidates with HVAC servicing or similar electromechanical experience.

• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty tasks.

• Exceptional analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and manuals.

• Ability to remain engaged in a project through root cause analysis.

• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding the expectations of both internal and external customers.

• Capability to work independently and in a timely manner, ensuring jobs are completed accurately in collaboration with outside technicians.

• Competence in following up on parts delivery.

• Trade or technical school education or certification is an asset.

• Preferred experience with industrial HVAC equipment or similar electromechanical products.

• Significant proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Intermediate experience with commercial projects.

• Experience in building automation is a plus.
