Field Service Technician III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide technical services post-sale at customer locations.

• Install, service, and repair both organizational and third-party products and services.

• Guide customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that can enhance performance.

• Create commissioning plans and carry out advanced system development and troubleshooting.

• Initiate small-range plants.

• Participate in project execution from the initial kick-off through the entire warranty period.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure efficient project completion.

• Offer feedback for ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate the activities of other field technicians and facilitate their work, without holding supervisory responsibilities.

• Suggest process enhancements.

• Liaise with project managers and project engineers to address issues.

• Generate travel itineraries using DuPont Concur Travel.

• Handle travel expenses in accordance with DuPont travel policies.

• Complete service trip reports using PC and MS365 applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

• Have a basic understanding of process controls and control systems.

• Familiarity with the fundamental operation of membrane filtration equipment.

• Capability to read and comprehend BOMs and packing lists.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, including P&IDs, electrical, and single line diagrams.

• Adhere to DuPont Safety guidelines and Site Safety reporting.

• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

• Demonstrate basic PLC troubleshooting skills, including digital and analog loops.

• Grasp the fundamentals of hydraulics, pumping, and chemical systems.

• Comprehend process instruments such as turbidity, flow, pH, etc.

• Exhibit excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to work independently.

• Willingness to travel 95% of the time, including some weekends.
