Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Independently troubleshoot, install, conduct preventative maintenance, and repair Beckman Coulter equipment.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical training on products.

• Service the Automation, Chemistry, and Immunoassay product lines.

• Maintain precise customer service logs and internal service documentation.

• Order necessary repair parts and comply with cycle times.

• Utilize OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning service calls and achieving team objectives.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to comprehend and fulfill requirements.

• Assist in training new Field Service Engineers.

• Report directly to the Field Service Supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or equivalent experience required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.

• Must possess a current valid driver’s license.

• Maintain a good driving record over the past three years.

• Willingness to travel within an assigned region and occasionally to other locations/overnight.

• Capability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for prolonged periods.

• Proficient in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level.

• Ability to flex and extend the neck.

• Good dexterity in hands and fingers.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and/or service repair.

• Preferred: Experience in establishing positive business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Preferred: Technical college major in fields such as biomed, engineering, or related disciplines.
