This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Address daily service repair requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment on-site.
• Provide necessary customer training.
• Record inspections, maintenance, and repair activities, submitting paperwork without delay.
• Manage the ordering, installation, and return of parts while overseeing the repair-parts cycle time.
• Review logs for unresolved issues and prepare official customer reports.
• Engage in Service Sales opportunities and support revenue-generating programs.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and testing equipment.
• Evaluate product and equipment performance using field-support data and suggest enhancements.
• Offer technical assistance to customers and other service professionals.
• Participate in site surveys, pilot-program service tasks, and meetings.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and senior field service engineers or product managers.
• Control and reduce costs effectively.
• Travel to airports, correctional facilities, courthouses, cruise ships, and various customer locations.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, export-control, and security regulations.
• Associate’s Degree, relevant trade certification, or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical disciplines.
• 1–3 years of comparable work and life experience may be considered in place of formal educational credentials.
• At least 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field.
• Proficient in computer use and familiar with all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Ability to learn specialized software programs effectively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A solid focus on customer service and teamwork.
• Willingness and capability to travel on short notice.
• Access to Sensitive Security Information (SSI) and TSA vetting required.
• Successful completion of a federal background investigation is mandatory.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, multitasking, and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and responsible.
• Exceptional telephone communication skills.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
• Proficient in operating carts, hoists, davit cranes, pallet jacks, and other designated devices.
• Full-body mobility is required.
• Ability to work safely in diverse environments and around hazardous industrial equipment.
• Willingness to travel, work overtime, and extend hours beyond the standard Monday–Friday schedule as needed.
