Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment involved in new Data Center Cooling initiatives.

• Analyze work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and other relevant materials to identify necessary tasks, tools, equipment, and parts for installation or repair.

• Oversee complex jobs to minimize the impact on customers’ facilities and experiences while reducing the financial burden on the company.

• Collaborate with building owners, general and mechanical contractors, engineers, and local service providers.

• Consult with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unusual system operation and maintenance challenges.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Provide management with insights regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or similar electromechanical experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty responsibilities.

• Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and manuals.

• Capable of remaining engaged in projects through root cause analysis.

• Exceptional customer service abilities with a commitment to surpassing both internal and external customer expectations.

• Ability to work autonomously in a timely manner, ensuring the job is completed accurately in collaboration with external technicians and maintaining follow-up on parts delivery.

• Trade or technical school education or certification is advantageous.

• Experience with industrial HVAC equipment or similar electromechanical products is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Intermediate experience with commercial projects.

• Experience in building automation is a plus.
