Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Conduct customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and effective manner.

• Repair and service electromechanical equipment, such as ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Execute scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.

• Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.

• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and facilitate remote connectivity.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues, proactively addressing problems whenever feasible.

• Engage with customers in a transparent, helpful, and professional manner aimed at resolution.

• Take part in both virtual and hands-on training programs offered by NCR Atleos.

• Adhere to NCR Atleos policies, encompassing Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, precise timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving protocols.

• Undertake other related tasks consistent with qualifications and business requirements.

• May be reassigned to neighboring service territories during regular shifts to fulfill operational needs.

• May opt for overnight travel assignments to enhance overall service coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 19 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that aligns with NCR Atleos fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiar with operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including extended travel with several hours of driving each day.

• Willingness to work rotating and weekend shifts.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Competent in bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and performing repetitive hand movements with objects of various sizes.

• Familiar with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification is preferred.

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
