This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Address daily service repair requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment on-site.
• Offer customer training as necessary.
• Record inspections, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring timely submission of paperwork.
• Manage the ordering, installation, and return of parts while overseeing the repair parts cycle time.
• Examine logs for unresolved issues and generate formal reports for customers.
• Engage in Service Sales initiatives and aid in revenue growth programs.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and testing equipment.
• Evaluate product and equipment performance, suggesting modifications or enhancements.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and fellow service professionals.
• Participate in site evaluations, pilot service tasks, and meetings.
• Foster business communication and relationships with senior Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and Product Managers.
• Manage and reduce costs effectively.
• Travel to customer sites, including airports, correctional facilities, courthouses, and cruise ships.
• Adhere to company regulations concerning health, safety, environmental standards, export controls, and security.
• Associate’s Degree, relevant trade certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical disciplines, or military training in related fields.
• Equivalent experience through 1–3 years in a comparable electrical or mechanical field service role is acceptable.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field.
• Proficient in using all applications in the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to learn specialized software programs effectively.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and telephone skills.
• A customer-centric approach and a strong emphasis on teamwork.
• Timely responsiveness to customer concerns.
• Willingness and capability to travel on short notice.
• Basic technical understanding of Trace and X-Ray technologies.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull up to 200 lbs.
• Proficiency in moving or manipulating equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs using appropriate devices.
• Capacity to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, and work in unconventional positions.
• Ability to work safely in extreme environments and around hazardous industrial equipment.
• Successful completion of TSA Sensitive Security Information (SSI) vetting and federal background checks if necessary.
• U.S. Personal Security Clearance may be required.
