Field Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within the specified territory/region.

• Ensure the continuity of customer operations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Receive and ship materials while keeping inventory records current.

• Address customer needs by resolving incidents or escalating them to the supervisor, territory manager, or Control Tower.

• Resolve customer issues and incidents through complete resolution in line with established SLAs.

• Provide services on low-complexity products and solutions, particularly focusing on financial products and ATMs.

• Conduct minor repairs and component replacements on Level I equipment, such as PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, and front-end POS systems.

• Offer first-line maintenance for ATMs and kiosks.

• Assist with site preparation, which includes cabling, equipment installation, basic testing, and modular replacements.

• Execute periodic preventive maintenance on products within your responsibility.

• Diagnose technical failures and perform minor repairs and module-level replacements.

• Build and nurture positive customer relationships, ensuring effective and clear communication at the local level.

• Represent NCR Atleos in a professional manner while upholding the company's image and values.

• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, especially when working on ATMs and in financial institutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in IT, including PC hardware maintenance and technical support, with experience working on ATMs.

• Intermediate understanding of routers, antenna adjustment, and general telecommunications is preferred.

• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.

• Familiarity with basic maintenance tools and Microsoft Office.

• Reside in Cascavel, Paraná.

• Registration with the CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians).

• Valid driver's license, Category B or higher.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses).

• Willingness to travel within a 300 km radius, including the possibility of occasional overnight stays.

• Availability to work at heights and obtain NR35 certification (provided by NCR Atleos).

• Flexibility to work shifts scheduled by management, including weekends and nighttime hours.
