This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Participate in a comprehensive three-month training program that includes both fieldwork and classroom instruction.

• Travel to customer locations within the region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate sophisticated measuring instruments.

• Engage hands-on with advanced Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), utilizing mechanical and electronic skills.

• Record service activities and maintain precise service documentation.

• Operate independently while representing ZEISS in a dynamic and innovative setting.

• Travel between 70–90% of the time within the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a minimum of a high school graduate, possess a GED, or have an equivalent qualification; alternatively, a technical school diploma, associate's, or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent training and experience from a Military Technical School.

• Prior experience using hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment is necessary.

• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems is required.

• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds independently.

• Willingness to work at least 50 hours per week, including both regular hours and overtime.

• Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Previous experience with installation and troubleshooting of industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems is a plus.

• Experience with CMM installation and troubleshooting is preferred but not essential.
