This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Deliver technical support and services to customers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, installations, site surveys, demand services, and emergency services for digital cinema equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance of cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies.
• Develop and implement customer support plans.
• Utilize electrical and computerized test equipment to test electronic assemblies, components, and parts.
• Inspect equipment and assemblies for defects and replace any faulty components.
• Repair equipment and conduct field testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve firmware and software issues.
• Lead inquiries into customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered conditions.
• Document, analyze, and report on production quality and the status and resolution of customer complaints or claims.
• Install and test electronic or digital equipment.
• Log daily activities in Field Point, including work descriptions, expenses, hours, labor, and travel.
• Assume responsibility for and carry out other assigned tasks.
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Background in electronics related to the Pro-AV market.
• Understanding of computer and networking concepts and architecture.
• Previous experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state.
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Exceptional time management, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated individual who can identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Capability to effectively interact with a diverse range of personnel within the organization.
• Willingness to travel in and out of the market up to 70–80% of the time.
