Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Deliver on-site technical assistance for customer projects while efficiently managing daily operations.

• Assist in both cold and hot commissioning processes of battery systems.

• Address battery-related performance challenges, including cell and module charging/balancing, as well as other site-specific equipment tasks.

• Facilitate the decommissioning of battery systems and sites, which includes maintenance, cleanup, disassembly, and equipment removal.

• Act as the primary EHS representative in the field, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements on a daily basis.

• Serve as a point of escalation for field service issues and promptly resolve customer inquiries.

• Collect and report customer feedback to enhance service processes.

• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of standard operating procedures for service activities.

• Collaborate with team members to integrate new tools and technologies into field operations.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, quality standards, and industry norms.

• Complete project-related administrative duties on time, including daily logs and expense reports.

• Travel to assigned job sites and remain until all tasks are finalized.

• Manage field tools necessary for assignments and projects.

• Maintain excellence across all operational areas.


⛳️ Requirements

• Technical or Trade degree, High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a field service technician in electrical power generation, renewable energy, or similar fields, with relevant safety certifications.

• Proficient in the use of computers and the installation of control-related firmware and software.

• Competent with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A continuous learner able to manage multiple projects and objectives.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as promised.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable.

• Achievements that demonstrate leadership, teamwork, integrity, and accountability.

• Willingness to travel and engage with customers.

• Capacity to regularly lift objects weighing 50+ lbs, stand, sit, or kneel for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Requires 75% or more travel to customer locations.
