Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver onsite technical assistance and installations at client locations

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and customer-related issues

• Address customer inquiries and provide solutions to their concerns

• Manage and track individual service tickets throughout the day

• Ensure optimal equipment functionality at customer sites

• Support customers in enhancing processes and optimizing performance

• Ascertain whether issues are covered under warranty or are the customer's responsibility

• Foster strong customer relationships through onsite visits and post-shipment support and installations

• Provide insights for updates to manuals

• Lead, assist, and support team members during runoffs, installations, rework installations, and onsite service

• Share customer insights within the department

• Maintain an expert-level understanding of PVA products

• Uphold confidentiality regarding customer information

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines with urgency and commitment

• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented

• Capability to follow instructions with focused attention

• Initiative and eagerness to learn

• Proficient computer and Excel skills

• Technical inclination in mechanical, controls, software, or related disciplines

• Preferred minimum of one (1)+ year in technical service and commercial experience

• Associate degree in engineering is preferred

• Willingness to travel extensively domestically

• Ability to travel outside the local geographic area

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Onsite training will take place in Upstate New York at the commencement of employment
