Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and upgrade Pitney Bowes shipping and mailing apparatus.

• Provide support for hardware and software solutions.

• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize client callbacks.

• Educate clients on Pitney Bowes equipment during the installation process.

• Act as a representative of Pitney Bowes in a fully client-facing role.

• Manage a multi-zip-code territory, which involves considerable windshield time.

• Utilize hand tools and small power tools for repairs, maintenance, and installations.

• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment.

• Deliver service to clients across various shipping and mailing technologies, including inserters and lockers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US.

• The employer will not sponsor employment visa status at any time.

• Possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

• Capability to lift 55 lbs or more with or without accommodation.

• Willingness to travel within a multi-zip code territory, with up to 80% windshield time.

• Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended durations.

• Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic understanding of PC and networking is preferred.

• Experience with automated equipment is preferred.

• Mechanically inclined.

• Background in repairing or troubleshooting hardware and software solutions.

• Strong customer service skills and client-facing aptitude.
