Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Service electromechanical devices, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and system overhauls.

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers.

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and deliver suitable solutions.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues while proactively addressing potential challenges.

• Complete formal training to effectively meet customer requirements.

• Collaborate with teachers, mentors, coaches, and diverse teams across service regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate residing in a specific geographic area.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCRV fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiar with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willing to travel extensively, including driving several hours each day.

• Available for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Flexible with shift timings, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times and some holidays.

• Able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Capable of bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, using hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects.

• Willing to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification is preferred.

• One or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
