Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Promote IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products to the contractor community.

• Address internal and external customer inquiries regarding technical matters related to commercial roofing and building envelope.

• Collaborate with the commercial contracting community and perform quality assurance inspections on ongoing and completed projects.

• Develop and deliver theoretical and practical training sessions on commercial products for both current and prospective Registered Contractors.

• Engage with the contracting community and distribution network to enhance product promotion and educational initiatives.

• Create written inspection and quality assurance reports for both internal and external clientele.

• Attend and actively participate in relevant association events to promote IKO Commercial products.

• Travel within the Greater Toronto Area, with potential travel requirements of up to 80%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with the application of commercial roofing products is essential.

• Familiarity with the application of building envelope products is advantageous.

• A degree in Roofing, Construction Technology, or a related field is beneficial.

• Experience in conducting quality assurance inspections is considered a plus.

• Background in product sales or promotion is an asset.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required.

• Strong understanding and proficient use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.

• Capability to climb a ladder is required.

• A valid driver’s license is needed.

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks while working independently is essential.

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

• Up to 80% travel may be necessary.
