Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Adhere to company and client safety regulations, as well as quality and production protocols.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and technical assistance for products.

• Oversee installation, removal, modification, repair, maintenance, testing, and inspection activities.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical or technical issues, proposing effective solutions.

• Address service requests and offer technical service and maintenance support at designated customer sites.

• Travel to end users, dealerships, OEMs, and corporate facilities across the country.

• Operate safely with high-pressure systems reaching up to 5,000 psi.

• Lead field service repair teams during recalls and campaigns.

• Serve as the primary point of contact at customer locations, driving service sales and fostering relationships.

• Assess situations, decide on actions, and keep customers updated on repair progress and status.

• Engage with customers and staff across various departments.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Agility’s products and other brands.

• Complete and submit necessary paperwork, digital forms, and reports.

• Stay updated on relevant local and national regulations.

• Gather Voice of Customer feedback to enhance products and processes.

• Organize and manage vehicle and onboard inventory, including audits and transport tasks.

• Assist with shipping parts from assigned mobile inventory to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• SAE automotive certification or equivalent technical training is advantageous.

• Over 2 years of experience with Hexagon Agility, CCFT (Momentum), A1 Alt Fuels, and/or other natural gas vehicle fuel systems.

• Proficiency in both English and French is preferred.

• Capability to work both independently and in collaboration to resolve issues.

• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

• Experience with Concur, IFS, Freshdesk, and Microsoft Teams is beneficial.

• Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

• Must possess personal tools.

• Experience or ability to interpret engineering drawings is essential.

• Experience or ability to comprehend electrical schematics is required.

• Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean criminal background and driving record.

• Experience or capability to bend stainless steel tubing and replicate hard lines in the field.

• Ability to safely depressurize and defuel CNG and LNG fuel systems.

• Hold certifications in Cummins Insite, BlueiQ, Swagelok, forklift, fall protection, and LO/TO training.

• NGVi (AFVi) or CSA tank inspector and Hexagon tank certifications are required.

• Experience with CNG tank repairs and proper condemnation is necessary.

• Ability to work independently in remote locations for extended overnight periods.

• Willingness to travel up to 100% and depart on short notice.
