This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Diagnose equipment issues, primarily in the field and occasionally in the office.

• Manage modifications to equipment.

• Assist with or participate in the testing and tuning of equipment.

• Record service activities and outcomes.

• Deliver on-site customer training and perform preventive maintenance inspections.

• Document and report safety issues related to the installation and operation of equipment.

• Encourage the sale of component parts at customer locations.

• Provide ongoing feedback to Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.

• Support the Company’s ISO goals, policies, procedures, and the GK SCOPE Program.

• Assist in research, development, and demonstration initiatives.

• Offer technical support for equipment to customers globally.

• Collaborate within a team environment alongside Contract Sales, Component Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent experience.

• Previous experience in metalworking, power transmissions, mechanical equipment, electrical control, and/or programming is advantageous.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Willingness and readiness to travel worldwide at any time, day or night.

• Ability to travel for 3 to 4 weeks at a time.

• Willingness and physical capability to work on equipment, including climbing ladders, crawling under objects, and operating in challenging conditions/jobsites.

• Capacity to comprehend basic business concepts and respond effectively to customer inquiries.

• Willingness to adhere to existing policies and procedures while developing technical expertise.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and thoroughly.

• Capability to take ownership and support work-related initiatives.

• Ability to collaborate with others to achieve meaningful results.

• Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
