Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, which includes forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated boom equipment.

• Report directly to the Shop Service Manager.

• Overhaul and test machines or equipment to verify operating efficiency.

• Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.

• Test mechanical products and equipment post-repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.

• Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.

• Troubleshoot operational errors and determine necessary corrective actions.

• Select appropriate tools and equipment required for repairs.

• Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specified requirements.

• Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to confirm proper operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a shop or field environment.

• Automotive technicians with dealership experience are encouraged to submit their applications.

• Familiarity with forklifts is recommended.

• Valid Driver's License (Required).

• Clean DMV record — verification will be conducted.

• Must possess personal tools.

• Capability to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Proficient in dismantling and reassembling heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.

• Must be able to wear protective equipment such as goggles, face shields, gloves, and work aprons.

• Physical ability to frequently lift and pull up to 100 pounds and work in awkward positions or underneath vehicles.

• Competence in using trade-type tools or hand tools.
