Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

• Service forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated boom equipment utilized in construction.

• Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure they operate efficiently.

• Interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.

• Test mechanical products and equipment post-repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and adherence to manufacturers' specifications.

• Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.

• Troubleshoot operational errors and identify suitable repairs.

• Choose the appropriate tools and equipment for each task.

• Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs according to specifications.

• Monitor gauges, dials, and indicators during operation.

• Report directly to the Shop Service Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a shop or field environment.

• Automotive technicians with dealership experience are highly encouraged to apply.

• Experience with forklifts is preferred.

• Must possess personal tools.

• Ability to wear protective gear such as goggles, face shields, gloves, and work aprons is required.

• Role frequently involves heavy lifting and pulling, up to 100 pounds.

• A valid Driver's License is mandatory.

• A clean DMV record will be verified.

• Capacity to read and comprehend operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Proficiency in using trade-type tools or hand tools.

• Manual dexterity, near vision, multi-limb coordination, and control precision are essential.
