Field Service Engineer – MRI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on MRI and other modality-specific equipment within the designated area.

• Execute comprehensive system-level troubleshooting for complex, multi-symptom issues.

• Relay equipment status updates to customers and departmental managers.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and optimal equipment performance.

• Support account sales visits and provide training to others as needed.

• Recognize sales opportunities and relay this information to the accounts team.

• Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the business within the geographic region.

• Manage Warranty and PMS contract expenses.

• Complete administrative duties, including FMI and PMS inspection documentation, punctually.

• Take a leadership role in complex, multifunctional environments.

• Share best practices with team members.

• Uphold effective quality systems and programs in compliance with ISO 9001, following the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Technician/Engineer or equivalent professional experience in medical devices.

• Relevant experience in Field Service.

• Strong technical analytical skills.

• Proficiency in planning and organizing work efficiently and effectively.

• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Commitment to high work standards and quality.

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Possession of a valid driving license and active driving experience.

• Capability to maintain quality systems in compliance with ISO 9001.
