Field Service Engineer – Field Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Efficiently install, repair, calibrate, clean, and test instruments utilizing logical troubleshooting methodologies.

• Foster and sustain positive relationships with customers.

• Engage with customers to review solutions, discuss their needs, and ensure safe operation.

• Oversee field parts inventory, testing devices, and tools.

• Ensure a clean and safe working environment at customer locations and in the company vehicle.

• Provide support to customers throughout the South New Jersey/Philadelphia region.

• Report to the Senior Area Service Manager as a member of the Field Service team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a related field, or foundational troubleshooting experience in electromechanical systems, networking, IT system upgrades, or similar areas.

• Possession of an Associate’s degree, Technical Associate’s degree, Electronic Technology Diploma, or relevant Military experience.

• Willingness to travel 30-35%, which may include overnight stays within the territory.

• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb.

• Experience with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly related to Laboratory Information Systems/Health Care Information Systems is advantageous.

• CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.

• Experience in the medical field is a plus.
