Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Conduct service visits in Upper Austria and Salzburg as per the schedules provided by the dispatch team.

• Identify faults and malfunctions in heating systems.

• Commission, maintain, and repair oil- and gas-fired heating systems as well as heat pumps.

• Record service calls in the company’s IT system.

• Participate in the on-call service outside of regular business hours.

• Serve as the on-site contact for customers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heating systems in the area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education or apprenticeship (such as apprenticeship, technical secondary school, technical college, or equivalent) in fields like installer, building services technician, heating technician, or similar.

• Relevant professional experience in customer service, particularly within heating technology, refrigeration technology, air conditioning and ventilation technology, or other technical disciplines.

• Proficiency in spoken and written German.

• Basic IT skills.

• Strong customer orientation coupled with a technical aptitude.

• Willingness to engage in on-call service outside of regular business hours, for a maximum duration of one week per month.
